In February this year, Energy and Transport Minister Anil Vij claimed that in October 2024, a conspiracy was hatched to defeat him from Ambala Cantt seat. He targeted Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini.

Transport Minister Anil Vij in the Haryana government had said that the workers who are seen with the friend of CM Naib Singh Saini are also seen with the anti -BJP candidate Chitra Sarwara. In the 2024 election, Anil Vij was given a tough challenge by Independent candidate Chitra Sarwara. Vij got 59,858 votes. Sarwara got 52,581 votes. The Congress candidate received 14,469 notes. In 2019, Anil Vij got 64,571 votes. In this election too, former Congress leader Sarwara secured 44,406 votes.
Anil Vij, a seven -time MLA from Ambala Cantonment, said in February that he (Saini) has been riding on the “Udan Khatola” (helicopter) since he took over. If he comes down, he will see the pain of the people. ”
BJP gave notice
In the midst of this dispute, the BJP also gave him a show cause notice. Vij also sent the answer. Regarding the notice, Anil Vij then said that I play with storms, I myself am a storm, I am a message of his end for those who collide with me.
