Senior Samajwadi Party leader and former cabinet minister Azam Khan has to go to jail once again after breathing open air for 55 days. In two PAN card cases, the court has sentenced Azam and his son Abdullah Azam to 7 years each. Not even two months had passed since he came out of jail, during which he was once again becoming active in politics.
Azam Khan had come out of Sitapur jail on 23 September after getting bail in the enemy property case. In the initial days after coming out of jail, he appeared angry with SP President Akhilesh Yadav, this anger was also visible in his interview to the media. During this period, he sometimes got emotional remembering Mulayam Singh and taunted Akhilesh by calling him a ‘big man’.

There were also speculations about Azam Khan that he might leave SP and join BSP or Azad Samaj Party. But, Azam answered all the speculations by saying that ‘We have something called character. We are not a commodity for sale.
Sensing the political trend, when Akhilesh Yadav planned to visit Rampur, Azam sarcastically said, ‘If big people come to my house, our respect will increase..’ During this, he was also very angry with SP MP from Rampur Mohibullah Nadvi and made several direct attacks on him. Akhilesh Yadav reached Rampur on 8 October but Azam made it clear that he would meet him alone.

After which Azam-Akhilesh met but Abdullah Azam and his wife Tanzin Fatima maintained a distance from it. After this meeting, Azam Khan appeared calm, both the leaders were seen holding hands, after which Azam Khan’s tone softened and he also praised Akhilesh Yadav on the open stage.
After meeting Akhilesh Yadav, Azam Khan became active in politics, meanwhile the series of meetings with many SP leaders also intensified. His role was considered important for the 2027 elections in Western UP. In order to get tickets, the visits of many leaders to their homes also increased.
Amidst all these things, former MLA from Sisamau seat of Kanpur, Irfan Solanki also came to meet him along with his wife Naseem Solanki. During this, Azam became emotional and said – ‘Come Gule Fasula, let me hug you, like me you have also looted in the spring’. Azam Khan also appeared soft on former MP ST Hasan and said that if he is angry then I will go home to convince him.

Azam Khan gradually started gaining his political ground. He also went to Lucknow with his son Abdullah and met Akhilesh Yadav, on which the SP President gave an emotional message and wrote – ‘Don’t know how many memories he brought with him when he came to our house today!’ After which the grievances of both of them were resolved. But now, with Azam going to jail, his political path has once again been put on hold.
Now it will be easier for the people of Noida to go to Jewar Airport, this road is being built at a cost of Rs 31 crore.
