In the delivery ward of Munger Sadar Hospital, there was a lot of uproar late on Wednesday (30 July, 2025). The matter was about the exchange of the newborn. After the birth of two children, due to the negligence of Mamta, there was a huge uproar in the hospital.
What is the matter?
Kavita, a 28 -year -old wife of Ganesh Prasad, a resident of Ramchandrapur village in Jamalpur police station area, and Ankita Singh, 26 -year -old wife of Gautam Kumar Singh, a resident of Milky North Tola of Haveli Kharagpur block, reached Sadar Hospital for delivery. Doctors operated both women. One gave the wood and one gave birth to the girl.
Mamta Sumitra, who works in the delivery ward, gave the newborn son of Kavita to Ankita Singh’s mother -in -law Shanti Devi, understanding the family of Kavita. Said that you have a grandson. After this, Mamta took the newborn child inside the doctor. After a while, Mamta came and told Ankita Singh’s mother -in -law that your daughter -in -law has given birth to a girl, not the boy. On hearing Mamta, the family of Ankita Singh started a ruckus. Accusing the child to change the child at the delivery center, refused to take the newborn girl.
‘Have given birth to a son… will take the son only’
On the other hand, the family of Kavita also refused to take the newborn girl. Said that if Kavita has given birth to a son, he will take the son only. Due to the uproar, Sadar Hospital doctor BN Singh and other workers reached the delivery ward. Explained to both the families but these people were not ready to accept.
Ankita Singh’s mother -in -law Shanti Devi said that Mamta gave the child and said that you are grandson. In the joy of the grandson, he also gave 700 rupees to Mamta. After this, Mamta took the child inside on the pretext of showing the doctor and came back after a while and started saying that the girl has not happened. On the other hand, Kavita Kumari told that she has a son.
Sadar Hospital doctor BN Singh said that the time of both has been recorded after the birth of both the children. Kavita Kumari has given birth to son and Ankita Singh has given birth to daughter. Mamta did not identify the family and gave the child to other family members, due to which there has been an uproar. He said that if the family does not take their children, then the court will take orders for DNA test.
