Last month, the company increased the playstation prices in Australia, Europe and New Zealand. However, tariffs can become an obstruction in increasing the price of playstation in the US. The release of Grand Theft Auto VI of Rockstar Games is also affecting the sales of the playstation.
Last year, sales of Sony’s image sensors reached 20 billion units. Mobile devices contribute significantly to a large number of image sensors. In the last five years, the sale of the company’s image sensors has doubled to 10 billion to 20 billion units. This sales has increased due to increasing number of cameras in smartphones. A few years ago smartphones with dual camera were introduced. Four cameras are also being given in many smartphones. The company plans to supply sensors for devices, smart ICT cameras and data sensors used in vehicles.
