Sourav Ganguly on Rohit Sharma Test Retirement: The Indian team’s tour of England (India Tour of England 2025) has remained about a month away. According to India Today, Sourav Ganguly said, “Retirement is a personal decision of a player. I believe this was the right time for his retirement. He has played a lot of cricket for India and I wish him all the best for future projects.”

Sourav Ganguly said that Rohit Sharma has been a great leader, that is why he could become the captain of Team India. He said, “It is not shocking for me that India won the T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy under his captaincy. His career was fantastic, for which he should feel proud of himself.”

On both occasions, he had to face defeat at the hands of Australia. Looking at Rohit’s Test career, he scored 4,301 runs in 67 matches. Rohit Sharma was struggling with poor form
