Heinrich klaasen retirement: South African legendary Henrik Klassen has announced retirement from international cricket. He said that representing the country was the biggest respect for him and the decision to retire was very difficult for him. Klassen played the first international match for South Africa in a ODI match. He scored 3,245 runs in his entire international career.

Henrich Klassen has shared a picture with his family on Instagram, through which he ruled that he is going away from cricket. He said, “Representing the country was a matter of pride for me, I used to dream this since childhood.” Klassen also said that in this magnificent cricket career, he also got such people, with whom his life changed.

Henrich Klassen gave the reason for retirement, saying, “I am now hoping that I will be able to spend more time with the family as I will be able to do it after retirement.” Klassen thanked all those who have helped them reach this point in cricket.

Test retirement was taken last year

Heinrich Klassen said goodbye to Test cricket in January last year. He played only 4 matches in his red-ball career in which he was able to score only 104 runs. Now he has also said goodbye to ODI and T20 formats. In his 60 ODI career, he scored 2,141 runs, including 4 centuries and 11 fifty. He was identified for his rapid batting in T20, where he scored 1,000 runs in 58 matches for South Africa.

Henrich Klassen played his last match for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025 so far. In his last match, he played an unbeaten 105 -run innings against KKR. The last match for South Africa played against New Zealand in March 2025.
