South Africa has announced the squad for the ODI and T20 series against India. Anrich Nortje is returning to the T20 team after the T20 World Cup final last year. The ODI team will be captained by Temba Bavuma, while the T20 team will be captained by Aiden Markram. Ryan Rickleton has not been selected in the T20 squad due to the return of Quinton de Kock. De Kock is coming off the back of scoring a century in the recent ODI match against Pakistan.
David Miller has returned to the T20 team, who played his last T20 match for South Africa in December 2024. Temba Bavuma will captain the ODI team. Let us tell you that De Kock has returned from retirement this year and after his return, he has appeared in better form than before.

ODI series schedule
India vs South Africa ODI series will run from 30 November-December. The first ODI match will be played on 30 November in Ranchi, the second match on 3 December in Raipur and the last ODI match on 6 December in Visakhapatnam.
- 1st ODI – 30 November – Ranchi
- 2nd ODI – 3 December – Raipur
- 3rd ODI – 6 December – Visakhapatnam
T20 series schedule
India vs South Africa five-match T20 series will run from December 9-December 19. The first match will be played in Cuttack, the second in Chandigarh and the third in Dharamshala. The fourth and fifth T20 matches will be played in Lucknow and Ahmedabad respectively.
- 1st T20 – 9 September – Cuttack
- 2nd T20 – 11 December – New Chandigarh
- 3rd T20 – 14 December – Dharamshala
- 4th T20 – 17 December – Lucknow
- Fifth T20 – 19 December – Ahmedabad
