The Special Cell of Delhi Police, while taking major action, arrested Akash Deep, a dangerous henchmen associated with the terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). The accused was wanted in a grenade attack on the police post in Batala, Punjab.
According to special cell officials, Akash Deep was involved in a grenade attack on 7 April 2025 in the Fort Lal Singh police station area. Babbar Khalsa International’s hand was told behind this attack. Police investigation has revealed that the accused was also active in smuggling illegal weapons in Delhi and was absconding for a long time. The Special Cell nabbed him on the basis of secret information. At present, the special cell is questioning the arrested terrorist and raids are going on in search of its network and colleagues.
