This is the second biggest successful run chase in IPL history. Abhishek played a brilliant innings of 141 runs in 55 balls. He shared a 171 -run partnership for the first wicket with Travis Head.
Chasing a huge target of 246 runs, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head made a quick start. Abhishek had completed his half -century in 19 balls, the head completed his half century in 32 balls. It was too late when Punjab Kings got the first wicket. Head was caught by Yuzvendra Chahal on the second ball of the 13th over. He scored 66 runs in 37 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 9 fours.
