Bangladesh last played a Test in 2017 in Gaul. At the same time, Shanto himself scored his first Test century in Sri Lanka in Pallekele on 2021 tour.
The Bangladeshi captain said that we are playing Tests without important players like Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal. Our team is going through the process of building, but, I am happy that some experienced players present in the team will perform well here. Shanto said that we will choose the playing XI according to the situation.
Mehdi Hasan Miraj is a great spinner as well as being the best batsman of the lower order and can prove to be very important for the team in Sri Lanka’s spin pitch condition. The 27 -year -old player has taken 205 wickets in 53 Tests and also took 205 wickets.
