Sri Lanka has become a victim of a shocking necklace before the Asia Cup 2025. In the second T20 match, Zimbabwe washed Sri Lanka by 5 wickets. With this, host Zimbabwe has equaled one by one in the T20 series and the series winner will be decided on 7 September. This is just the second time that Zimbabwe has won Sri Lanka in a T20 match.

Zimbabwe may have won this match with 34 balls remaining, but his batsmen were also seen struggling. Zimbabwe had lost three wickets for 27 runs. In a low-scoring match, Brian Bennett and Ryan Berl’s 26-run small partnership contributed to Zimbabwe’s victory. Ryan returned unbeaten after scoring 20 runs.
Only second win over Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe have come face to face in T20 cricket history, out of which Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe have won 2 times. It is a matter of note for the Sri Lankan team that Zimbabwe has defeated him 2 times in the last four T20 matches.
