SSC Stenographer Grade-C Recruitment 2025 announced! Application starts for 326 posts, great opportunity for government job

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has given a big news for the youth preparing for government jobs. The Commission has released the official notification of Stenographer Grade-C (LDCE) examination. With this the application process has also started. This is considered a golden opportunity for the candidates who have been waiting for this recruitment for a long time. A total of 326 posts will be appointed through this recruitment process.

According to the information given by SSC, online applications for Stenographer Grade-C (LDCE) examination has started from 22 December 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply till 11 January 2026. The Commission has made it clear that applications will be accepted only through online mode. No form will be accepted after the due date.

Through this recruitment, the selected candidates will be posted in many important departments of the Central Government. These include prestigious departments like Central Secretariat Stenographers Service, Armed Forces Headquarters and Indian Foreign Service. In such a situation, this recruitment not only opens the way for a job but also for a better career.

What will the selection process be like?

Candidates will be selected in SSC Stenographer Grade-C Recruitment in two phases. In the first phase, there will be Computer Based Examination (CBT) and after that Stenography Skill Test will be taken.

  • A total of 200 marks questions will be asked in the computer based examination. In this
  • 100 questions from General Awareness (100 marks)
  • There will be 100 questions (100 marks) from English language.

This exam will be of total 2 hours. The Commission has said that negative marking will also be implemented in the examination. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer, hence candidates have been advised to solve the questions thoughtfully.

Stenography Skill Test

Candidates successful in the written examination will be called for the next stage i.e. Stenography Skill Test. This test will be of total 200 marks. In this, the candidate’s typing speed and stenography ability will be tested.

  • First of all candidates go to the official website of SSC.
  • Click on the relevant section present on the homepage.
  • Now enter email ID, mobile number and guardian name for registration.
  • After this, fill the required information and upload the scanned copies of the required documents.
  • Check all the information carefully before submitting the form.
  • Finally, take a print out of the application form and keep it with you.
