Stock Market Today 27 May 2025: The stock market started with a decline on Tuesday on the second trading day of the week. The Sensex is trading at the level of 438.58 points, or 0.53 percent at 81,739.37 at around 9.15 am. While the Nifty has fallen to the level of 129.10 points i.e. 0.51 percent to 24,874.35. As soon as the market opened, IndusInd Bank shares saw a rise of 0.04 percent, while the price of UltraTech Cement went down to 1.38 percent. Excise Bank shares fell 1.134 percent and NTPC shares fell by 1.32 percent. So at the same time, Mahindra & Mahindra fell 1.14 percent and Eternal Company’s stock also slipped down 1.06 percent.
These companies will have quarterly results
Today, many companies including LIC will have quarterly results, which can be seen on its stock. These include BOSCH, Bharat Dynamics, NMDC, Zinka Logistics Solutions, Carroro India, Hindustan Copper, JK Laxmi Cement, Gateway Disciplines, National Chemicals and Fertilizers, Triveni Engineer and Industry, etc.
Mixed trend in global market
This month, the results of the fourth quarter of the companies and the schemes regarding the tariff of US President Donald Trump also affect the market move and it is determined by the direction. On Monday, foreign investors purchased shares worth Rs 135.98 crore. Whereas, domestic western investors also invested in shares of Rs 1,745.72 crore.
If we talk about Asian markets, then today i.e. on Tuesday, a mixed attitude has been seen here. While Japan’s Nikkei slipped 0.15 percent, the broader topics index remained stable. At the same time, Kospi also came down 0.32 percent. However, ASX 200 stance the trend in 200 and it climbed 0.16 percent.
Market boom a day before
The news of the world’s fourth economy brought a new enthusiasm in the Indian stock market on Monday. Apart from this, the move by the US to postpone the fees imposed on the European Union till July 9 also worked to give the market an edge. On Monday, the Sensex rose 455 points, while the NSE Nifty has seen a rise of 148 points.
On Friday too, 769.09 points in the Sensex and 243.45 points in the Nifty were recorded. Experts believe that announcement has also been emphasized in the markets to arrive ahead of the monsoon and give a dividen of Rs 2.69 lakh crore to the government on behalf of the Reserve Bank of India.
