The teaser of Bollywood’s most awaited film ‘Border 2’ has arrived. Sunny Deol was also present at the launch event in Mumbai today. This is the first time after the death of father Dharmendra that Sunny Deol attended an event. During this he also looked emotional. The entire star cast including Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty along with Sunny Deol were present at the teaser launch. On this occasion, the cast told many interesting things about the film and shooting.
Varun Dhawan told that when Sunny Deol took his name for the first time during the shooting, he became nervous. Varun said- ‘I have become nervous and emotional after many years. But the biggest thing for me was that I am working with Sunny Deol. So genuinely thank you sir, thank you so much that you gave all of us the opportunity to work with you. Varun Dhawan became emotional after this and touched Sunny Deol’s feet and Sunny hugged him.
Sunny Deol reached the set four days before the shooting
After this, while sharing the story of the shooting of the film, he said – ‘My shooting had started earlier and Sunny sir had come to the set about four days before the shooting of his part. So I was also surprised, Anurag was also surprised as to why he was coming, what he wanted to do. And for the first time in my career, I saw that such a big, mega superstar comes on the set and sits quietly on a chair and watches the shooting, not saying anything. He made me feel completely comfortable.
Told Sunny Deol as his ‘hero’
He also told that he could not believe that he was working with Sunny Deol. The actor said- ‘When I did the first scene with Sunny sir, for the first time when he took the name of my character, I was a little nervous. I didn’t tell them anything. I went to the side and said to Anurag, ‘He is doing exactly like Sunny Deol.’ And Anurag said, ‘Brother, this is Sunny Deol, so he will do the same.’ I said that I had to pinch myself, because he has been my hero since childhood.
Varun also remembered the days of ‘Border’. He says that he had seen ‘Border’ in Chandan Cinema and had seen it many times. He said- ‘We all have seen it. And seeing him in front of me today, I can’t tell what a big moment that was for me. The child inside me was very happy that day.
Talking about his character in ‘Border 2’, Varun Dhawan said- ‘Playing the character of an army officer, playing the role of Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, who is a Param Vir Chakra winner, it is a matter of great pride for me. I hope the audience will like it, their families will like it. But most of all I want that when our armed forces watch this film, and when children watch this film, they also have the desire to join the armed forces of this country.
