Strange-o-poor case in Bareilly: brother-in-law absconding, brother-in-law’s sister ran away the next morning

In Bareilly district in Uttar Pradesh, a rare incident matches the plot of a television serial, under which a young man escaped with his wife’s sister (sister -in -law), then the next day his brother -in -law ran away with his (brother -in -law’s) sister.

The police said on Tuesday that no legal action was taken as the two families have resolved the matter with mutual consent.

Police said that this rare incident came to light in Kamalupur village of Devrania police station area last month. Police said that for six years, Keshav Kumar (28), who was married for six years and the father of two children, escaped with his 19 -year -old sister -in -law Kalpana on 23 August.

Police said that a day after the incident, Keshav’s wife Ravindra (22) ran quietly from home with his 19 -year -old sister of his brother -in -law (Keshav).

Case became a matter of discussion in the entire city

Both families are shocked by these two incidents and a complaint has been lodged with the Nawabganj police. Arun Kumar Srivastava, the station in -charge of Nawabganj, said, “We had traced both couples on 14 and 15 September”.

He told that later people of both the families agreed to resolve the matter in the police station. According to the police, what happened after this was also a rare moment of reconciliation instead of confrontation.

In the presence of the elders of the community, both families decided not to leave the couples alone and not take legal action. However, the matter has been closed, but it remains the subject of discussion throughout the city.
