There have been reports of huge kidnapping of students in many areas of Pakistan. Many students disappeared and outside Pakistan’s Balochistan region. Earlier this incident used to happen in Balochistan, but now students are being abducted in broad daylight from Karachi, Nashki and Ketch.
Student kidnapped from university
Muslim Dad Baloch, a fourth semester student at Karachi University, was abducted from the college’s entry gate. Eyewitnesses say that when he was returning to the hostel with his friends, unknown people forcefully made him sit in a car and took him. The student was a resident of Ajran district in Balochistan province of Pakistan and was a well-known face in the Baloch student community of Karachi. Due to his sudden disappearance, there is an atmosphere of fear among his colleagues and his family is in shock.
Pakistani security forces picked up the student from home
According to the Balochistan Post report, Hafizullah, son of Pir Mohammed, a resident of Kaziabad, was allegedly picked up by Pakistani security forces in Nashki on Sunday (27 July 2025). The family has expressed concern over his unknown hideout and demanded his immediate release.
TBP has also recently reported two missing people in Katch district. On July 23, 16 -year -old shopkeeper Kumber Baluch was abducted by people associated with ESI from Turbat area of Balochistan. On 27 June 2025 at Turbat University, 26 -year -old student of Baluchi language and culture Imran Khan was allegedly abducted by Frontier Core and military intelligence in broad daylight.
‘Pattern has become kidnapped’
According to the report, a representative of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) said that these are not a few cases, but it is a pattern. VBMP is a group that has been campaigning for safe recovery of long kidnapped persons. Despite repeated appeals and protests, most of the cases remain unresolved. There is neither accountability of these cases nor any formal investigation.
