The capital received rain on Tuesday morning and the minimum temperature was recorded at 1.3 degrees below normal. The Meteorological Department had projected light rain during the day due to the effect of Western Disturbance, which affected the region.

Safdarjung records 12.6 mm of rain

According to IMD, in 24 hours ended on Tuesday morning at 8.30 am, the city’s primary weather center Safdarjung recorded 12.6 mm rainfall, while Palam recorded 11 mm and 11.7 mm rainfall in the ridge station. IMD had said that the maximum temperature is likely to be around 35 ° C.
