Sukhvinder singh sukhu: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has given gift to Una. On Monday, development projects worth Rs 25.79 crore were inaugurated and founded in Una. During this, the Chief Minister announced the opening of a government school based on the state’s first CBSE pattern in Una.
Local leaders and activists welcomed him when Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu reached Una. After this, CM Sukhu went to the venue. He inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Government Senior Secondary (Bal) School built at a cost of Rs 8.79 crore in Una.
After this, the Chief Minister inaugurated the state -of -the -art educational block of the Government Degree College constructed at a cost of Rs 12 crore. This block includes smart classrooms, science laboratory and administrative units.
Also, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of Girls Hostel to be built at an estimated cost of five crore rupees in Una. This hostel will provide safe and convenient accommodation to the students coming from far-flung areas. During the program, he also planted saplings in the college campus.
In his address, the Chief Minister announced that the first government school in Himachal Pradesh, based on the CBSE pattern, will be opened in the Government Senior Secondary (Bal) School, Una campus. He said, “This step is a big initiative towards quality education in the state and this will improve the education level of government schools.”
From the platform, Sukhu also announced that, “All the students of the state, who will participate in national or international level competitions, will be given necessary concessions in the attendance of the school. In this regard, instructions have been issued to all principals and principals in this regard with immediate effect.”
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu also responded to BJP’s allegations in Una. He said that the Congress government is moving towards fulfilling its promises.
Chief Minister Sukhu said, “The Congress government is constantly working to fulfill its promises, but BJP leaders have tried to deprive the state of the rights from the Center.” He also alleged that the former BJP government laid the foundation stone of big buildings for only showing without budget provision, which the Congress government is now fulfilling.
