CM sukhvinder singh sukhu meets PM modi: Turki and Azerbaijan supported Pakistan after Operation Sindoor. Now an appeal is being made to end business relations with these two countries. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ban the import of apples coming from Turki and Azerbaijan. He made this demand in a meeting of the 10th Governing Council of NITI Aayog held in Bharat Mandapam on Saturday.

CM Sukhu said that due to apples from these countries, the gardeners of Himachal are incurring losses. He told that PM Modi has assured that he will see this issue seriously. The Chief Minister said, “I told Prime Minister Modi that our farmers are suffering due to cheap apples coming from Turkis and Azerbaijan. I demanded them to stop the import of apples from these countries. PM Modi said that he would see that there will be no harm to Himachal’s gardeners.”

CM Sukhu demanded big demand from central government

CM Sukhu also said in the meeting that the central government should also cooperate in the expansion of Kangra Airport. He said, “We will spend 50% of the cost of airport expansion, the remaining 50% has sought from the central government.” The Chief Minister said that the state should get 50% royalty from the power projects which are waived. Along with this, he said that Himachal Pradesh is going through a period of financial reforms, so the state should be given financial assistance from the Center.

PM Modi made this appeal to the states

In the meeting of NITI Aayog on Saturday, Prime Minister Modi appealed to the states to focus on developed India. He said that his goal should be to make every state, city, municipality and village ‘developed’.
