According to a report by Hotterfly, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja has allegedly filed for divorce in the Bandra Family Court. In this application, Sunita has filed a petition under Section 13 (1) (i), (IA), and (IB) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, in which cheating, affair with another woman and cruelty have been described as the basis of breaking their 38 -year -old marriage. After which the court allegedly summoned Govinda on 25 May, but did not reach the court. Then the court also issued a show cause notice.
