Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband businessman Sanjay Kapoor passed away last year. Since his death, there has been a controversy regarding his property. There is a dispute over property between Sanjay’s mother and his wife Priya Sachdev and Karisma Kapoor’s children. Sanjay Kapoor’s mother Rani Kapoor had demanded abolition of RK Family Trust. On which Delhi High Court has heard and issued summons.
Case filed against 22 people
Rani Kapoor has filed a case in Delhi High Court against 22 people including her daughter-in-law Priya Kapoor and children of actress Karisma Kapoor. The petition alleges that Priya and Karishma’s children have created a fraudulent family trust to illegally grab their entire property.
Rani Kapoor also alleged that the Rani Kapoor Family Trust was fraudulent, void and worthless and that her entire property and family legacy was illegally transferred to that trust without her knowledge or consent.

Rani Kapoor had revealed in the interview that she was not mentally and physically healthy at the time of her son’s death and some people, taking advantage of her mental condition, had signed many papers to grab the property. He had also said that Priya and Karisma Kapoor’s children are trying to grab the property illegally and have also created a fake family trust. Rani Kapoor has filed a petition in the court to dissolve this trust.
The war over property continues between Priya and Karishma’s children. Karisma’s children allege that Priya Kapoor wants to deprive them of their father’s property by presenting a fake will in the court, while Priya Kapoor has asked for search papers of Karisma and Sanjay Kapoor through a petition in the Supreme Court so that the agreement made between the two can be known. The court has also issued a notice to Karisma Kapoor in the matter and has also sought a reply within two weeks.
