Why did Sonu Nigam leave acting?
Actually Sonu Nigam had reached the podcast of Faridun Shaharyaar. During this time, the singer talked about his short acting career and said that films like Jani Dushman: A unique story and I wish Hum Hamara Hota made him so disappointed that he completely opted out of acting.

The 2002 fantasy drama film ‘Jani Dushman’ had many actors including Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Manisha Koirala, Arshad Warsi. Despite her big names, the film was one of the biggest disaster films of Bollywood.

Sonu said, “Armaan Kohli is like a brother for me, he really cares for me. But we never thought that so many people will walk on the wrong path. When I signed the film, I thought, Sunny Deol is in it, so how wrong can it be? If Akshay Kumar can be wrong, then how wrong can he be? So many people were involved in this.


Who shoots without climax? ‘
Sonu also recalled the experience of working in ‘Kash Aap Hamari Ho’ during the Etervision, in which Raj Babbar’s daughter Juhi Babbar also worked. That shooting was also very upheaval. Sonu said, “The same situation happened to that film. We moved so far to shoot it, and they did not even write a climax. And now, during shooting, they are thinking how to finish it. I was thinking, who were these people? Climex?

From actor to singer
Although Sonu Nigam’s play back singing career was at a continuous heights, his acting was over before the journey started. On looking back, he says that due to those bad experience, he had avoided acting.
