This film, starring strong actors like Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Ahaan Shetty, has been released in theaters and seems to be making a big impact at the box office. With the release of the film, there is tremendous buzz among the audience. The biggest question is whether the magic of the film has worked on the audience. The answer to this is clearly visible in the box office numbers of the first day. The film Border 2 has made a huge earning of around Rs 30 crore on the opening day. With this strong opening, the film has left behind the recently released Dhurandhar. Dhurandhar had earned Rs 28 crore on the first day. It is clear from these figures that the audience is liking the patriotic flavor of Border 2. Border 2 has also broken the record of Sunny Deol’s film Jatt. Jaat had earned only Rs 10 crore on the opening day. However, if compared with Sunny Deol’s all time blockbuster Gadar 2, Border 2 is still behind. Gadar 2 had a massive collection of Rs 40 crore on the first day. Now the real test of the film will happen in the coming days. The film is expected to get huge benefits from the weekend and also from the holiday of 26th January. Patriotic emotions and Republic Day holiday together can further boost the film’s collection.
