Sources said that the Federal Investigation Agency will record his statement under the Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in connection with an investigation related to an “illegal” betting app (1 Xbate).
It is believed that the 38 -year -old former Indian cricketers are associated with this app through some advertisements. The ED wants to inquire about their relationship with this app.
The agency is investigating many cases related to various illegal betting apps, which are accused of cheating crores of rupees or a large amount of tax evasion from many people and investors.

Former Indian cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh have also been questioned in the advertising case for these platforms. Along with cricketers, Bollywood actors Sonu Sood and Urvashi Rautela have also been questioned.
