Suryakumar Yadav Gave Statement After Defeating Namibia: The 18th match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 took place between India and Namibia last night i.e. on 12 February. This match was played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, in which Team India won by a huge margin of 93 runs. India has continued its winning streak in the tournament with the win against Namibia. After this resounding victory, Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav has expressed his happiness over the team’s performance, especially the batting of Ishan Kishan and the return of Jasprit Bumrah.

After the match, captain Suryakumar Yadav gave credit for the victory to the batsmen and said, ‘It was not such an easy wicket to bat on, but seeing the way Ishan and Sanju started, it seemed that it is a very easy pitch. Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav praised the Namibian bowlers and admitted that the ball was coming with some pause in the middle of the Indian innings. He said, ‘The ball was stopping a bit, but I don’t want to take away any credit from the Namibian bowlers. He bowled really well and he came on the field with a complete plan. However, the good thing for us was that in the end we finished well.
Captain Surya is happy with the return of Jasprit Bumrah
The biggest relief for Suryakumar Yadav was the fitness of Jasprit Bumrah and the spin of Varun Chakraborty. On Bumrah’s return, Surya said, ‘It is a big plus point for us to see Bumrah bowling his full quota of four overs. It is pleasant to have him back in the team and he is fully prepared for the next match (against Pakistan).

Finally, while talking about the performance of the team’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya and the upcoming challenges, Surya said, ‘Every match is very important for us.
