T20 World Cup 2026 will start from 7th February. The first match of the tournament will be played between Pakistan and Netherlands. The venues for both the semi-final matches have also been confirmed. The first semi-final will be played in Kolkata and the second in Colombo. India and Sri Lanka will be hosting the T20 World Cup together. The final match will be played on March 8 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. If Pakistan goes to the final, the title match will be played in Colombo.

Like the 2024 T20 World Cup, 20 teams will participate in the next World Cup also. India and Pakistan have been kept in the same group. India-Pak match will be played in Colombo on 15th February. Like last time, eight teams will travel through the Super-8 stage to the semi-finals and then the finals.

World Cup matches will be played in total 8 matches. 5 cities of India have got hosting of World Cup matches. These include Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. World Cup matches will be played in 3 cities of Sri Lanka.

A special program was organized to announce the schedule of T20 World Cup 2026, in which Rohit Sharma and Harmanpreet Kaur and many other great players attended. Apart from the current captain of India’s T20 team, Suryakumar Yadav, BCCI President Mithun Manhas, Board Vice President Rajeev Shukla, BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia and ICC Chairman Jay Shah also arrived.

Who is in India’s group? full schedule

India, Pakistan, USA, Netherlands and Namibia have been kept in the same group. India will play its first match with USA on 7th February, which will be held in Mumbai. India’s second match will be against Namibia on 12 February, the third against Pakistan on 15 February and the fourth league match will be against Netherlands on 18 February.
