Bhoomik was a student of engineering

21 -year -old Bhoomik Laxman, who lost his life in the Bangalore stampede, was a last year student of Engineering and came with friends to be a part of the celebration outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The crowd suddenly became uncontrollable and he lost his life in the stampede. A total of 11 people, including a 14 -year -old girl, died in this accident.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has expressed deep grief over the stampede during the RCB Vijay Parade. In a press conference, he told that 11 people have died and 33 people have been injured in this accident. CM Siddaramaiah said, “The government carried out the responsibility of security arrangements, followed by further arrangements for the Cricket Association,” he said that there was a small gate in the stadium, where a huge crowd gathered. The mob forcefully broke the door, causing a stampede situation.

The Chief Minister announced that financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh will be given to the families of the deceased, while the treatment of the injured will be completely free. He said that the government will investigate the matter seriously and necessary steps will be taken so that such incidents do not happen in future.
