The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule of the 2026 T20 World Cup. This mega event will start from 7th February. The title match will be played on March 8. A total of 20 teams will participate in the 2026 T20 World Cup, which are divided into 4 groups. T20 World Cup matches will be played at a total of five venues in India. Rohit Sharma becomes brand ambassador

ICC Chairman Jay Shah has declared Rohit Sharma as the brand ambassador of the 2026 T20 World Cup. It was under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma that India won the 2024 T20 World Cup title, after which he retired from this format. Jai Shah said that there could not have been a better person than Rohit Sharma for the responsibility of ambassador. Being the brand ambassador, Rohit Sharma will make an important contribution in promoting the T20 World Cup at the global level.
