Saif Ali Khan On Dil Chahta Hai: There have been many films in Bollywood which remain everyone’s favorite even after years and decades have passed. One such film is ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. This film is in the 25th year of its release, although even today people like it a lot. This film starring the trio of Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Khanna was directed by Farhan Akhtar. Saif has recently talked about this film and Farhan.

Told the story of shooting in Goa

Recently Saif Ali Khan gave an interview to Variety India. During this, the actor made an interesting revelation while remembering the days of shooting of the film. He told, ‘It was a tremendous experience. I think it was the most fun because the shooting was taking place in Goa and we were very young. We also shot and had a party on the beach. I remember we ate at almost every restaurant in Goa and because we were all very young, we had a lot of energy to eat, drink, party and then come back for shooting.

Saif praised Farhan

The atmosphere on the set was quite light-hearted. Saif gave the credit for this to Farhan. Praising the actor-director, he said, ‘We used to laugh most of the time because Farhan handled everything very easily. Seeing his style on the set, it seemed as if he was born for direction only. He further said, ‘We were just asked to remember our lines. After reaching the set, there was no need to think about anything. Just memorize your lines and then the rest was a lot of fun.

The film came 25 years ago

Dil Chahta Hai is the story of three friends (Aamir Khan, Akshay Khanna and Saif Ali Khan). This romantic drama film shows the growth of the young generation. Dimple Kapadia, Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni, Ayub Khan and Rajat Kapoor were also part of the film. The film was released on 14 August 2001. Soon Dil Chahta Hai is going to complete 25 years of its release.
