The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the US has taken a major action against the international terrorist network. The FBI has arrested eight Khalistani militants from many different places in America. The eight terrorists arrested by the FBI include the name of gangster Pavittar Singh Batala, a resident of Punjab, India.

Pavittar Singh Batala has been declared wanted by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) to involve the terrorist activities associated with the banned terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).

Nia Has registered a charge sheet in the name of terrorist

In fact, India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) had registered a charge sheet in June this year along with Pavittar Singh Batala as well as Jatinder Joti and Babbar Khalsa International terrorist Lakhbir Landa. At the same time, the arrest of these terrorists in America has been done after the investigation of many agencies. Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams took action to arrest these terrorists. At the same time, according to India’s intelligence agencies, all these accused are part of the same gangster-Atki network.

FBI Weapons and cash seized from terrorists

When the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was conducting an investigation and raid campaign against these terrorists, it also seized large quantities of weapons, bullets and cash. FBI officials said, many serious criminal charges have been lodged against this terrorist organization, including kidnapping, torture, illegal custody, intimidation of witnesses and attacking crimes with semi-automatic weapons. Apart from this, all these have also been accused of involvement in gang -related crimes.

America extradited 26/11 mastermind terrorist Tahawwur Rana in India

The US has earlier joined the Most Wanted List of Indian investigative agencies and has extradited Tawwur Rana, the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Tehwwur Rana was lodged in America’s jail for a long time and was going on a hearing in the US court. After the hearing, the American court gave its verdict regarding the extradition of Tehwavur Rana to India. Subsequently, the US handed over Tahwwur Rana, the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, to the Indian investigative agencies on April 10, 2025 and was successfully brought back to India. Currently, Tahwwur Rana is in custody of National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Tahawwur Rana News: The mastermind of the Mumbai terror attacks is currently under NIA’s custody, where he is being questioned. According to sources, here he is feeling fear of hanging 26/11 terrorist Ajmal Kasab. After nearly 16 years of being imprisoned in America, Tahwwur Rana is now collecting information about Indian law. He is repeatedly gathering information about the Indian justice process from the authorities.

Tahwwur is collecting information about all legal process

As per the court order, two government lawyers appointed met Tawwur Rana for half an hour, in which he gave information about all the allegations. Rana is collecting information about each section against him. He is trying to know how the further legal process will take place and till the trial will last. During the meeting with the legal team, he was mostly trying to find out what other legal process is going to be against him?

Initial phase inquiry started

The investigating agency is currently interrogating the initial phase from Tahwwur Rana. Right now there is no fragrance to take Tahwwur outside Delhi due to security reasons. NIA gives Tahwwur Rana a time to offer 5 times prayers and is given food according to the rules.

Tehwwur Rana is not deliberately cooperating in the investigation and is trying to draw time. Rana is an important link for India’s investigative agencies, as it is believed to have been involved in the conspiracy of Mumbai attacks with Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and ISI. Tawwur Rana was produced in the special court of NIA at Patiala House, from where he was sent to 18 days custody.

Tahawwur rana extradition: The 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Tawwur Rana has been brought to India on Thursday (10 April 2025). NIA, the country’s largest investigative agency, said that he has successfully extradited Tahawwur Hussain Rana. The NIA said in a statement that this extradition has been done after years of efforts to bring the main conspirator of the 2008 Mumbai attacks under the purview of the judicial process.

The NIA’s statement said, “With the active assistance of USDOJ, American Sky Marshall, the NIA worked closely with other Indian intelligence agencies, NSG during the extradition process. In this, India’s Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Home Affairs also coordinated with other concerned officials in the US to take the matter to a successful conclusion. ”

The NIA said, “The Central District Court of California ordered the extradition of Tehwavur Rana on 16 May 2023. After this, Tahwwur Rana filed suit in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, all of which were rejected. After this, Tahwavur filed a Rit of Falor, two priests and an objection to an objection. It was also rejected. “

‘Mastermind of Mumbai terror attacks’

The NIA issued a statement saying, “Rana is accused of conspiring to carry out terrorist attacks in Mumbai in 2008 along with David Coleman Headley, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET) Harkat-Jihadi Islamic (HUJI) and Pakistan’s terrorists. The illegal activity (prevention) Act, 1967 (UAPA) is accused of conspiring to carry out terrorist attacks in Mumbai in 2008. Harakat-ul-Jihadi Islamic has declared a terrorist organization. “

Pakistan has said on Thursday that it has nothing to do with Tawwur Rana, accused of terrorist attack in Mumbai. Pakistan said that Tehwavur Rana is a Canadian citizen and has not updated his Pakistani documents for almost two decades. Rana is a close associate of American citizen David Coleman Headley alias Dawood Gilani, one of the main conspirators of the Mumbai terror attacks.
