In Purnia, Bihar, on the morning of Friday (October 03, 2025), five people were hit by the Vande Bharat train. Four people died. It seemed that the deaths of those who died would be around 18 to 20-21 years. This accident took place near Kasba Gumti on Katihar-Jogbani railway block. It is being told that all these were returning after seeing the fair of Dussehra. During this time this incident happened.

Three killed on the spot

A crowd of people gathered after the incident. Police and railway people also reached the spot. According to the initial information received regarding the accident, three of the five people died on the spot. Two boys were admitted to the hospital for treatment, but another died when he came here. The condition of another is critical, whose treatment is going on. The incident has been confirmed by Munna Kumar, manager of the railway posted in Purnia.

The injured have been admitted to GMC. None of the deaths could be identified until the news was written. The railway police has started in further process. Please tell that Vande Bharat train runs from Jogbani to Danapur (Patna). This train was passing through the spot at around 4:30 am on Friday morning. This train was inaugurated on 15 September

It may be noted that before the assembly elections (2025), Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Bihar continuously. This train between Jogbani and Danapur was inaugurated by PM Modi on 15 September. He had given the green signal virtually. After this, its regular operations have started.
