Sonia Yadav has won the bronze medal in the 84+ kg category in the All India Police Weightlifting Cluster 2025-26 held in Andhra Pradesh. The big thing in this is that in this tournament, Sonika Yadav lifted 145 kg weight even during 7 months of pregnancy. Sonika Yadav’s pregnancy started from the month of May. Sonika’s husband thought that she would not go to the gym during pregnancy and would stop training. But Sonika was determined to continue her training even during pregnancy. Sonika has been continuously doing weightlifting even during these seven months of pregnancy.

During this competition, Sonia Yadav lifted 125 kg weight in squats, 80 kg weight in bench press and 145 kg weight in deadlift. In this way, Sonika lifted a total weight of 350 kg during the tournament. Everyone including Delhi Police is appreciating the courage of Sonika Yadav.
