Punit Balan Studios’ popular documentary ’75 Years of NDA’ has come into discussion these days. Recently the film has achieved a big achievement in the 72nd National Film Awards. The film’s editor Manveer Jasrotia has received the National Award for Best Editing in the Non-Feature Film Category. This honor has not only recognized the creativity and quality of the documentary at the national level, but has also emerged as a major achievement for Punit Balan Studios.

History shown in the film

This documentary on the 75-year journey of the National Defense Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla presents the heritage, traditions and contributions of India’s most prestigious military training institution in a unique and spectacular cinematic style. The history of this institution, which has been preparing officers for generations for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force, is shown in an inspiring manner.

The documentary is directed by Tanuj Bhatia and Tanuka Laghate and written by Mugdha Kalra. Rare archival footage, historical visuals, training sequences, parade ceremonies and many important documents have been used in the film, due to which the legacy of NDA comes alive in front of the audience.
