Bihar’s Women and Child Development Corporation (WCDC) has launched the Civil Services Incentive Scheme, under which a lump sum incentive amount of Rs 50,000 will be given to eligible female candidates. Under this, this amount will be given to all the female candidates who pass the 71st preliminary examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Its objective is to increase and encourage the candidature of women in Bihar Public Service Commission. However, this scheme is only for women candidates coming from general category and economically weaker section (EWS), which is being run under the Social Welfare Department of Bihar Government.

How does the Civil Services Incentive Scheme work?

To increase the participation of women, Bihar Government has started Civil Services Incentive Scheme in entire Bihar, under which an incentive amount of Rs 50,000 will be provided to eligible women candidates of General Category and Economically Weaker Section (EWS). But only that female candidate will get this amount, who has passed the 71st preliminary competitive examination conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). The objective of this scheme is to help those women candidates who have passed the preliminary examination but are not able to appear in the further examination due to some reason or lack of funds. Because when a candidate gets selected in the prelims of the Civil Services Competitive Examination, the expenses incurred in reaching the mains examination and interview increase a lot. To deal with this, Bihar Government has started “Civil Services Incentive Scheme”.

How to apply for Civil Services Incentive Scheme?

The Civil Services Incentive Scheme has been made completely online, which means that eligible women candidates can apply through online mode.
Eligible women candidates can apply through the official website of the corporation wcdc.bihar.gov.in/Careers till 31 December 2025.

Documents required at the time of application

While filling the form it is mandatory to upload some key documents online. These include:

passport size photo,

Signature,

Self Attested BPSC Admit Card,

Aadhar card,

residence certificate,

Caste certificate in case of belonging to backward class category,

Bank passbook or canceled cheque.

To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is mandatory for women candidates to have their bank account seeded with Aadhaar.

The applying candidate will also have to give an affidavit issued by a Judicial Magistrate of the first class, in which it is written that the candidate is not working in any government funded institution.

To avail the benefits of this scheme, the candidate must be a resident of Bihar.

Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has changed the rules related to Aadhaar card. The...

Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has changed the rules related to Aadhaar card. The government has made it clear that now Aadhar card will not be accepted as birth certificate or proof of date of birth. In this regard, the planning department has issued instructions to all the departments.

This decision of the UP government has been taken on the basis of the letter issued by the regional office of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on October 31. In this letter it was said that the date of birth recorded in the Aadhar card is approximate, hence the Aadhar card cannot be considered as an authentic document.

Planning Department issued orders

After this letter, Special Secretary, Planning Department, Amit Singh Bansal has issued orders to the Principal Secretaries and Additional Chief Secretaries of all the departments. The Planning Department clarified that as per the guidelines issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India, Aadhaar card is not a presumptive proof of date of birth.

However, Aadhaar card is still being accepted as date of birth by various departments of the state government. You are requested not to accept Aadhar Card as a certificate of date of birth. The government gave strict instructions that from now on Aadhar card should not be used as a certificate of date of birth in any government process.

Estimated date of birth on Aadhar card

Actually, according to UIDAI, birth certificate, school record or any hospital document is not compulsorily taken in the process of making Aadhar card. In such a situation, the date of birth mentioned on it is approximate and cannot be considered as an authentic document.

The planning department said that only birth certificate issued from hospital, high school certificate, records registered by Municipal Corporation, government job, pension, scholarship, license and documents covered under government schemes can be taken as birth certificate.

Ground Report of SIR in UP: BLO left home and family and engaged in SIR duty, working till 3 o’clock in the night, himself told the problems.

Now Aadhar card will not be considered a necessary document for making birth certificate in Maharashtra.
The government has taken this decision to stop fake birth and death certificates being used for illegal purposes. Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule has ordered to cancel all suspicious certificates issued using Aadhaar card.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on Wednesday (November 26, 2025) has taken a big step regarding the Aadhaar card. UIDAI has deactivated the Aadhar card numbers of more than 2 crore people across the country. However, let us also tell you that UIDAI has deactivated the Aadhaar numbers of those people who are no longer in this world i.e. those who have died.

Actually, the authority has taken this big step as part of the campaign being run across the country to continuously update the Aadhaar database and to prevent any kind of misuse of Aadhaar numbers of dead people. UIDAI has undertaken this important task based on information received from sources such as Data Registrar General of India (RGI), States and Union Territories, Public Distribution System (PDS), National Social Assistance Program (NSAP). Apart from this, UIDAI is also working towards collaborating with banks and other financial institutions to get the information of the deceased people.

UIDAI Launched new facility as early as 2025

,@UIDAI deactivates over 2 Crore Aadhaar numbers of deceased individuals

Family members may also report the death of kin via myAadhaar portal

At the same time, the authority also said that UIDAI has started a new facility on My Aadhaar portal with the beginning of this year, through which family members themselves can give information regarding any of their deceased relatives. This step will prove helpful in updating the Aadhaar database completely and quickly. However, this facility is currently available in 25 states and union territories of the country that use the Civil Registration System (CRS). Apart from this, the process of connecting the remaining states and union territories to this portal is going on.

Why was this step taken?,

UIDAI said that the Aadhaar number of any person is not re-issued in the name of any other person. However, it is very important to deactivate the Aadhaar number after the death of any person, so that any kind of fraud using the identity of the concerned person or misuse of that Aadhaar number for benefiting any public welfare schemes can be prevented.

UIDAI What did he request the countrymen?,

UIDAI has requested people across the country to obtain the death certificate after the death of a family member and inform it on the myAadhaar portal, so that the records can be updated and any kind of misuse can be prevented.

Birth Certificate Link To Aadhaar Card: The need for digital records in the country has...

Birth Certificate Link To Aadhaar Card: The need for digital records in the country has increased more than ever. Be it school admission, getting a passport made or taking advantage of any government scheme. Identity related documents are required everywhere. For this reason, the process of linking birth certificate and Aadhar card has now been started. Its purpose is that after the birth of the child, it should be clean and updated at one place.

Earlier, parents had to apply separately to link the birth certificate with Aadhaar. But now both the documents will be linked in one process. This will reduce the hassle of filling the form and in future there will be no need to submit the same information again in any government work. Know what is the method for this.

How is the linking with birth?

After the birth of the child in the hospital, its details are registered at the registration centre. This information goes directly to the online CRS portal. In this registration, the child’s name, date of birth, time, gender and details of parents are added. In the new system, the process of Aadhaar can also start from here. While applying, the child’s Aadhaar number is entered by choosing the Aadhaar option. Biometrics of small children are not taken immediately.

Also read: These mistakes while operating a geyser can be costly, even a little carelessness can create danger.

Therefore, first a temporary Aadhaar number is issued. Which can be updated later. Aadhaar number, address and other information of the parents have to be entered on the same portal. If all the data is correct then the birth certificate and Aadhaar are automatically linked. Since this entire work is digital, there is no need to go anywhere or stand in line.

How to link already made birth certificate?

If the child has grown up or you already have both the birth certificate and Aadhaar. Even linking is easy. For this you have to go to the website of Civil Registration System. Create an account there on General Public Sign Up. Then login and open the Birth Registration section. Now select the Aadhaar link option and enter the birth registration number, Aadhaar number and mobile OTP.

Also read: People already working will also get gratuity in 1 year, know what are the rules?

If the records match, both the documents are instantly linked. Where there is a mistake in the information. There first corrections are made in the birth certificate. In some states, this facility is also available at UIDAI service centres. After linking, school admission, government schemes, insurance, passport and many other important tasks become very easy.

Also read: You cannot take these 10 things in a flight even if you want, you will go to jail as soon as you land.

In today’s time, Aadhar card is no longer just an identity card, but it has...

In today’s time, Aadhar card is no longer just an identity card, but it has become the key to many of our daily essential services. Be it opening a bank account, availing benefits of government schemes, pension or gas subsidy, linking PAN-Aadhaar or filing income tax return, your Aadhaar card is needed everywhere. But the most important thing in every work related to Aadhaar is OTP, which is sent by UIDAI to the mobile number registered in your Aadhaar.

But in such a situation, a question often comes to mind that what will happen if that mobile number gets switched off, gets stolen, lost or you are not using that number at all? In such a situation, it becomes difficult to do any online work related to Aadhaar. Therefore, it is very important to update your new mobile number in Aadhaar. So let us know how to add a new mobile number if the old number linked to Aadhaar has been stopped.

Can I add a new mobile number?

UIDAI has stopped the facility to change mobile number online due to security reasons. If mobile number can be changed online, then anyone can misuse all the services related to Aadhaar by changing your number without your permission. To prevent this fraud, biometric verification of the person has been made mandatory when adding a new mobile number, which can be done only at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra. If your old number has been switched off, then you can link the new mobile number to Aadhaar with some easy methods.

How to add a new mobile number?

1. By visiting the nearest Aadhaar Seva Center – The first step to add a new number is to find an Aadhaar enrollment center near you. You can easily find the center nearest to you by visiting the UIDAI website. In which enter state, district or pin code. After this, information about the nearest Aadhaar center will appear on the screen.

2. Fill the Aadhaar Update Form – As soon as you reach the centre, you will get an Aadhaar Update and Correction Form. In this you will have to write your name, Aadhaar number and new mobile number. Keep in mind that there is no need to write the old mobile number in the form.

3. Biometric verification will be done – After submitting the form, the operator takes your fingerprint and iris scan to confirm your identity. This process is necessary so that it can be decided that the change in Aadhaar is being made by the same person who is actually its real owner.

4. Deposit the fee and take receipt – The government fee for updating mobile number is Rs 50. After depositing the fees, you will get a receipt on which a URN is written. With this URN you can go online and check the status of your request.

How to check status?

If you want to know whether your new mobile number is linked to Aadhaar or not, then go to UIDAI website and select Check Aadhaar Update Status or Verify Aadhaar option. Enter the Aadhaar number in it, fill the captcha and you will immediately know whether the update is complete or not. Often UIDAI also sends updated information through SMS. Usually it takes 24 hours to 5 days for the mobile number to be updated. But according to UIDAI guidelines this process can take up to 90 days.

Also read: Last date for registration in PM Awas Yojana is approaching, know the complete process of application

Blue Aadhaar Card: Aadhaar card is the most used identity related document in the country....

Blue Aadhaar Card: Aadhaar card is the most used identity related document in the country. Generally people have seen white colored base. Which is printed on paper and used in plastic lamination. But recently another type of Aadhaar is in discussion. Which people call blue base.

Hearing the name, many people think that it is a different kind of facility or some extra identity is registered in it. So let’s talk, it is not like that. The blue base is actually made for a different category. Let us tell you for whom blue Aadhar card is made? And how different is this Aadhar card from the white Aadhar card.

How is Blue Aadhaar different from White Aadhaar Card?

At present two types of Aadhar cards are issued in India. The blue base is visually different from the white base. While the white base comes in a standard format, the blue base is specially designed for children. It is light blue in color and is officially called Aadhaar as Baal Aadhaar by UIDAI. Its big difference is that it does not include biometric information.

Also read: 21st installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi will not come to the account of these people on November 19, check your status like this

Because fingerprints and iris scans of small children change constantly and do not remain stable. The white base contains biometrics. But in Blue Aadhaar, only information like photo, date of birth and parents’ Aadhaar number is recorded. Apart from this, Baal Aadhaar is made for children below five years of age. As soon as the child turns five years old, it becomes necessary to get the biometric updated again by UIDAI.

Which people constitute Blue Aadhaar?

The blue base is made for children under five years of age. The process of making it is easy. For this, it is necessary for one of the parents to have Aadhaar. During the application, the birth certificate of the child is asked. The photo of the child is captured there and the rest of the information is given by the parents.
