Actor Aamir Khan’s daughter Ayra Khan has always been talking about mental health. She had told that she was struggling with depression and was taking therapy. She runs a company named Agatsu for mental health support. Now Ayra told in her latest post that she is now free from therapy.

Ayra wrote, ‘On October 13, I took the last therapy. After 8 years and psychoanalysis three times a week, my therapy is now over. So now you are okay? I am still on medicines and will probably remain so in the times to come. Not going to therapy now means that my therapist and I are convinced that I have learned a lot of things. Also, I have learned to live my life better. I will be able to manage things on my own. I will take care of myself responsibly. I will also remember to have fun in life.

Ayra further said, ‘As far as recovery is concerned, I am recovering from my depression. Also, I will be able to manage depressive episodes beyond medicines. And if I can’t, I’ll ask for help. I like to say this – I graduated from therapy!! I passed!’
