Aamir khan on depression: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has recently celebrated his 60th birthday. On this occasion, he introduced his new girlfriend Gauri Sprhat to the media and confirmed that he is in a relationship with him for 18 months. At the same time, recently, the actor has told that after divorce from his first wife Reena Dutta, he was badly broken and started drinking a lot of alcohol.

Talking to instant Bollywood, Aamir Khan said- ‘When Reena and my breakup took place, I was in shock for about 2-3 years. I was not working nor listening to the script. I was alone at home and for about one and a half years I drank a lot of alcohol. You would be surprised to know that I did not drink alcohol.

‘I was like Devdas’
Aamir Khan further said- ‘After separation, I did not know what to do. I could not sleep at night and I started drinking alcohol. Earlier I did not drink alcohol at all, then I became a person who used to drink the entire bottle in a day. I was like Devdas, who was trying to ruin myself. I did this for one and a half years. I was in deep depression.

Please tell that Aamir Khan had a love marriage with Reena Dutta. Both of them had secretly married and kept their marriage hidden for a long time. However, he divorced in 2002 after 16 years of marriage. They have two children Junaid Khan and Ayra Khan. After divorcing Reena, Aamir Khan married Kiran Rao in 2005. However, in 16 years 2021, Aamir did not get divorced once again. Now superstar Gauri is dating Sprat.
