Oshiwara Police has solved the mystery of the sensational theft worth crores of rupees that took place at the house of famous Bollywood actor Abhimanyu Singh in the posh Lokhandwala area of ​​Andheri West. The police have not only arrested a vicious and habitual criminal, but have also recovered about 92% of the stolen goods.

The thief entered the house through the bathroom window
According to the information received from the police, this incident took place on the night of 29 December 2025 in bungalow number 15 of Magnum Tower, Lokhandwala. The clever thief had entered the house through the bathroom window and made away with the entire safe kept in the cupboard. A huge amount of cash including gold, silver and diamond precious jewelery was present in the safe. The total value of the stolen goods was said to be Rs 1 crore 37 lakh 20 thousand.

The accused was caught by the police on January 3.
After receiving the complaint about the incident, Oshiwara police registered a case under sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and started investigation. This case was challenging because there was no fixed address of the accused. A special team was formed under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector and leadership of Assistant Police Inspector Vikas Kadam. An officer said, “Based on technical inputs and local sources, our team laid intensive traps continuously for two days and finally succeeded in arresting the accused on January 3, 2026.”

The accused confessed to the crime
After the arrest, the accused has confessed to his crime. On his information, the police have recovered diamonds and gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 1 crore 26 lakh 10 thousand 450.

14 cases are registered against the accused in Mumbai
A shocking revelation in the investigation has also been that the accused is a notorious criminal against whom 14 criminal cases are already registered in different police stations of Mumbai. Police fear that this arrest may expose many more incidents of theft in Oshiwara and other areas. At present the accused is in police custody and further legal action is being taken.
