Punjab captain Abhishek Sharma made a century partnership for the first wicket with Simran Singh, both scored 106 runs in 57 balls. Simran Singh also played an explosive innings, he scored 50 runs in 28 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 7 fours. Simran was dismissed by Mohit Rathi and Abhishek by Ravi Chauhan.
