A case of ‘ball tampering’ i.e. tampering with the ball came to light in Pakistan Super League 2026 (PSL 2026). In this controversy, allegations were made against Fakhar Zaman, who is playing for Lahore Colors in the tournament. Taking cognizance of the matter, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) found Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman guilty of Level-3 on ball tampering charges and suspended him for two matches.

The thing to note is that Fakhar had denied the allegations against him during the hearing, but the Pakistan Board confirmed Fakhar’s guilt and said that the suspension will remain in force.
