According to news agency PTI, Asian Cricket Council sources said that BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla, boards of other countries including Sri Lanka and Afghanistan also wrote a letter to ACC Chairman Mohsin Naqvi last week asking that the Asia Cup trophy be given to Team India.

It was further told in the same report that Mohsin Naqvi is adamant on his point. Naqvi wants BCCI to send one of its representatives to Dubai and take the trophy from his hands.
