Considering the time it takes in the IPL, it did not seem a wise decision for me to play in it.”

34-year-old Adam Zampa was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad last year for Rs 2.40 crore. This was his highest salary in IPL, before this he had played for 3 teams but could not play all the matches in any edition. He could not impress in IPL. He made his IPL debut in 2016, he bowled well for Rising Pune Supergiants in the first season. He took 12 wickets in 5 matches. In 2017, he took 7 wickets in 6 matches.

Zampa played for RCB in 2020, this season he took 2 wickets in 3 matches. In 2023, he played for Rajasthan Royals and took 8 wickets in 6 matches. In 2025, he got a chance in only 2 matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad, in which he took 2 wickets.
