Adani power mega order: Adani Power Limited said on Saturday that it has received a big order from MP Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL). Under this, the company has to develop a new ultra-superakritical thermal power plant of 800 MW for supply of electricity in Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh.

This biggest thermal power generator of the private sector in the country says that this project will help Madhya Pradesh to meet the demand for increasing electricity due to increasing industrialization and urbanization. The company will have to invest Rs 10,500 crore to build this plant and prepare the infrastructure.

The demand for electricity in the country is increasing continuously

SB Khyalia, Chief Executive Officer of Adani Power, said on this, “Due to rapid economic development, the demand for electricity in the country is increasing rapidly in the country, especially the base load of electricity, so to meet the growing needs of the country, to meet the growing needs of the country, strengthening energy infrastructure and investment is necessary for this. Adani Power is committed to enhancing its capacity and adopting advanced technology to make India’s energy future permanently secure. ”

He further said, “Anuppur power plant will play an important role in ensuring reliable, affordable and competitive price for homes and businesses. This will strengthen the energy security of India and Madhya Pradesh and will promote continuous progress in the state.

To achieve this project, Adani Power bid to provide electricity at the rate of Rs 5.838 per kWh. Under the contract, the company will supply electricity from a new 800 MW ultra-superakritical thermal power unit in the state. The operation of this plant will be operational in the next 54 months.

With the receipt of this order, Shares of Adani Power will be in focus on Monday. On Friday, August 29, as soon as the company announced to meet the 2,400 MW thermal power project in Bihar, its shares got a sharp jump. It jumped about 3 percent from its intraday low level and reached the Intrade high level of Rs 600.75. Now the impact of this new order in Madhya Pradesh can be seen in the company’s shares on Monday.
