Born in India on December 3, 2001, Jervis Wadia played age-group cricket for Baroda before moving to Australia. He grew up in Mumbai, where his parents still live. After flight services were stopped due to Covid, Xerces Wadia had to stay in Adelaide. Jervis Wadia joins Adelaide Strikers as replacement

Jervis Wadia has been included in their team by Adelaide Strikers as a local replacement for star wicketkeeper batsman Alex Carey, who is currently playing the Ashes series.
