The Pakistan government has declared former army officer Adil Raja, a supporter of Imran Khan and a staunch opponent of Asim Munir, as a terrorist for spreading the narrative against the country. Pakistan’s Home Ministry said in a statement issued on Saturday (December 27, 2025) that the government believes that Adil Raja has been involved in activities that pose a serious threat to the security, integrity and public order of Pakistan.

The statement said, ‘They have continuously misused online platforms to promote, facilitate and amplify anti-national narratives and propaganda associated with banned terrorist organizations, thereby carrying out actions against the sovereignty and security of Pakistan. Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 11EE of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997, the Government of Pakistan directs that Adil Raja be included as a banned person in the Fourth Schedule of the Act.’
