Who is Aryaman Birla?

Aryaman Birla is the son of Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of Aditya Birla Group. Aryaman is only 28 years old and he is a former cricketer. Aryaman has played for Madhya Pradesh in Indian domestic cricket. He has also played with current RCB captain Rajat Patidar and Venkatesh Iyer. Aryaman Birla, who bats left-handed, has scored 414 runs in 9 first-class matches for Madhya Pradesh and has also scored a century at Eden Gardens. He has 36 runs in his name in four List-A matches.

Bidding started in IPL auction

Rajasthan Royals had bid Rs 30 lakh on Aryaman Birla in the 2018 mega auction, but he did not get a chance to play a single match in the entire season. The company said that the company’s operational revenue increased to Rs 64,232 crore due to the increase in the average price of aluminum in the April-June quarter. It was Rs 57,013 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.

The company’s managing director Satish Pai said, “After earning a record profit in FY25, Hindalco maintained its growth speed with strong performance in the first quarter on the basis of better operation, cost control and better product mixture.”

Aluminum business made so much profit

The company’s quarterly upstream from domestic aluminum business increased by Rs 8,839 crore to Rs 9,331 crore from Rs 8,839 crore in the June quarter of FY 2025. The income from the Downstream aluminum business increased by 17 percent to Rs 3,353 crore. Pai says, Aluminum India upstream business continued its better performance in the industry with 44 percent Ebitda margin. Aluminum India Downstream recorded a brilliant quarter and recorded its strongest quarterly performance with double Ebitda growth.

Good business of copper with aluminum

The copper business in the country also gained a lead of 119 KT from 119 KT to 4 percent in the fiscal year 2025. With this, it became 124 KT. Pai said that despite the low TC/RC (treatment fee and laundering fee), the copper business gave a good EBITDA according to its estimate.
