In a few days, the year 2025 will have said goodbye to all of us. But behind this it will give good and bad memories happening all over the world. In this connection, we are telling about those conflicts in the world which turned into terrible wars. These wars changed the security dynamics of many areas of the world. Similarly, we are telling about five big battles, which have left a deep impression in the mutual conflict between two countries.

India’s Operation Sindoor against Pakistan
In the beginning of May 2025, tension suddenly increased between two neighboring countries of the world. During this time, India carried out Operation Sindoor and carried out missile attacks on 7 May. This attack was a revenge for the terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22. Terrorists had killed 26 people in the Pahalgam attack. Adopting a zero tolerance strategy against the Terror Act, this operation targeted the hideouts of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba located in Murid. Both these places were within the border of Pakistan. Pakistan also responded to India’s action, military level talks continued for four days and ceasefire was imposed on 10 May.

war between israel and iran
It is about 13 June 2025, on this day Israel started a major military operation against Iran. In this, nuclear-military bases and government infrastructure were attacked. The attack took place after almost two years of conflict between Israel and fundamentalist groups in Iran. Both the countries had come into direct conflict. America entered this fight. It targeted those sites of Iran’s nuclear program, which Israel was not able to destroy. On June 24, there was a ceasefire between the two. This fight lasted for 12 days.

conflict between afghanistan and pakistan
At the end of the year, in the month of October, there was tension between Afghanistan and Pakistan. This war started with Pakistan carrying out an airstrike targeting Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan leader Noor Wali Mehsud in Kabul. This strike took place after TTP attack on Pakistani soldiers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. After this attack, Afghanistan also retaliated. In this, 23 Pakistani soldiers were killed, nine Afghan soldiers lost their lives. Pakistan accused TTP of allowing it to operate from Afghan territory. However, Afghanistan rejected this. Both countries are currently ready for ceasefire, but tension between the two countries can increase at any time.

DRC-Rwanda conflict and Goma attack
Fighting in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo was seen in January 2025. Because of this, M23 rebels started attacking in Goma in support of Rwandan forces. This operation began on January 23 and ended on January 27 after the capture of Goma, the capital of North Kivu region. This fighting continued till the end of the month. A peace agreement was reached between the two countries with the mediation of America. But tensions and clashes still persist.

Thailand-Cambodia clash with weapons
On July 24, 2025, the world saw another big fight. This time there were two countries, Thailand and Cambodia. A clash with weapons was seen between the two. The issue of fight was regarding the old temple complex. By July 27, this fighting spread to 12 places. There were 38 deaths in this. 3 lakh people were rendered homeless. After this, ASEAN headed by Malaysia demanded immediate ceasefire. UN called an emergency session of the Security Council. After this, after the mediation of Malaysia and diplomatic help from US-China, ceasefire was immediately declared after talks on 28th July.

After the clashes that started at the end of last week on the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan, tension flared up once again today (Wednesday). This latest violence has come to light in the remote area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid alleged that Pakistan had attacked with light and heavy weapons in Spin Boldak district of Kandahar province. According to the Taliban, there have been reports of many people being killed and injured in this attack.

In this sequence, let us know who was the richest Hindu of Afghanistan and how many crores of rupees worth of property he had left behind.

Who was the richest Hindu of Afghanistan?

As soon as the name of Afghanistan comes to mind, the picture of war, turmoil and Taliban rule comes to mind, but this country was once one of the most prosperous trading centers of South Asia. The role of the Afghan Hindu community was very important in this prosperity. One of these names was Niranjan Das, who was once said to be the richest Hindu of Afghanistan. His life is not only an example of success, but this story also testifies to how changing circumstances forced a prosperous community to flee their own country.

There were also big traders and landowners

Niranjan Das was an influential official during the reign of Amanullah Khan of Afghanistan (1919–1929). He was working as the head of the tax department at that time. It is said that he had great influence in the administration of Amanullah Khan and was counted among the most powerful representatives of the Hindu community in the Afghan court. Niranjan Das was not just an officer, but he was also a big businessman, landowner and social worker, whose businesses extended from Afghanistan to India and Central Asia.

How much was the property?

He had many mansions, lands and business establishments in Kabul and Kandahar. Although the exact amount of his wealth is not known, but if sources are to be believed, his wealth at that time was considered to be worth several crores of rupees, which today can be counted in hundreds of crores or even billions. At that time, Hindu and Sikh traders of Afghanistan were mainly active in the business of textiles, spices, precious stones and currency exchange and Niranjan Das was considered the biggest businessman among them.

Why did you have to run away?

Later, the turmoil in Afghan politics changed everything. After the fall of Amanullah Khan, instability started increasing in the country. With the change of regime, pressure on the Hindu community increased and many people had to leave their businesses and properties and leave the country. Niranjan Das was also one of them. He left behind his property, mansions and lands worth crores and migrated to India. It is believed that some of his family members later settled in Delhi and Amritsar, where they started a new life.

Today Niranjan Das’s name has faded in the pages of history, but his contribution shows that Hindus in Afghanistan were once not just a minority community but an important part of the economic backbone of the country.

The ongoing conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan started again yesterday around 7:30 pm Indian time after a pause of 60 hours. While according to the information, there was firing between the armies of the two countries and Pakistan targeted 6 posts of Afghanistan and the tanks deployed there with artillery, anti-tank missiles and drones, then the video of a drone strike on a post of Pakistan from the Afghanistan side was also released by Taliban’s ally media.

The first attack on Afghanistan was carried out by the Pakistani Army at 7:47 pm Indian time by striking the Afghan Army post located on the Paktika-Kurram border with artillery. After this, in the second attack, the Pakistani Army targeted the Afghan post located on the Paktika-Kurram border. After this, at around 11 pm, the Pakistani Army attacked the post of the Third Afghan Army located on Paktika Kurram border, due to which there was smoke everywhere.

Pakistani army attacked Afghanistan with drone

After this, the Pakistani Army started carrying out drone strikes on the Afghan Army, in which the Pakistani Army first targeted the tanks of the Afghan Army moving in Paktika with drones, after which the Pakistani Army started targeting the Pakistani tanks located on other borders. In the picture shared by the Pakistani Army to the Pakistani media, it was claimed that the tank present at the Shamshad post of the Afghan Army located on the small hill on the Nangarhar-Khyber border was attacked by the Pakistani Army with an anti-tank missile.

After this, the Pakistani Army also attacked the Naresagar post of the Afghan Army located on the Khost Khosht Ghulam Khan-North Waziristan Miranshah border with the help of drones. Amidst all this, a drone video of Afghan Army destroying Pakistani post was shared from Afghan Taliban’s Al Mirsad channel.

Video surfaced

Also, in the video from Afghanistan, it is seen that Afghan army vehicles were seen moving towards Ghulam Shah Border located in Khost and Kandahar-Chaman Spin Boldak Border in response to the sudden attack by Pakistan. During the Pakistani attacks, an unknown drone was also seen flying in the sky of the capital Kabul. According to current information, the Afghan Army has asked people living in residential areas located on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border to leave their houses and go to safe places.

Pakistan fired missiles on tanks, Afghanistan also did drone strike on PAK post"/>

According to Afghan media since last night, the armies of both the countries are also firing at each other. Let us tell you that on last Saturday, at 9.23 pm Indian time, the Afghan army had suddenly attacked 7 borders to avenge the air strikes in Kabul and Paktika on Pakistan, in which according to Afghanistan, 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed, along with destroying 40 Pakistani posts, 25 were captured, although Pakistan had accepted the death of only 23 soldiers and Pakistan had claimed that in retaliation The Afghan army had suffered significant losses.

Afghanistan responded to the attack

After causing harm to Pakistan, Afghanistan had announced ceasefire on Sunday midnight at 1 am Indian time on the call of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, but the Pakistani army started attacking the Afghan army after the ceasefire which continued till 7 am in the morning, after which the Afghan government claimed that there is peace on the border.

But after this, on Monday, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry had expressed strong anger over the Afghan government’s statement on the firing on unarmed protesters and massacre of more than 280 people by Pakistani security forces in Muridke, Punjab province of Pakistan, and then yesterday the Pakistani army again attacked the Afghan army.

Afghan army snatched weapons from Pakistani army

Let us tell you that after the attack on Pakistan on Saturday, the Afghan Army had snatched the weapons of the Pakistani Army and brought them back to Afghanistan, along with this, 5 soldiers of the Pakistani Army are still hostage with the Afghan Army. In such a situation, there was an atmosphere of celebration in Afghanistan for the last two days and yesterday the Afghan Army had displayed the pants and snatched weapons of the captive soldiers of the Pakistani Army in a celebration organized by the people of Nangarhar for defeating Pakistan in the conflict on Saturday.

Apart from the clash between the army of Pakistan and Afghanistan last night, information about 3 explosions was received at 1.30 am in Mashtung area of Balochistan province of Pakistan, but the reason for this is not yet clear. Also, neither the Afghan government or the army nor the Pakistani army or government has given any official statement yet on the clash with Pakistan that started at 7:47 pm last night. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether Pakistan attacked the military bases of Afghanistan to save its reputation or for some other reason.

Once again the sound of bullets is echoing near the Durand Line. Taliban fighters are entering the border of Pakistan and attacking military posts. Pakistan has started retaliatory firing, due to which tension between the two countries has increased. This dispute between Afghanistan and Pakistan is not new. This 2640 km long international border, called the Durand Line, has been a cause of conflict between the two countries for decades.

Afghanistan does not recognize this border. According to him, this is a “hypothetical line” i.e. an imaginary border, which was created by the British government for its own interests. The Durand Line is a line drawn in 1893 that forms the border between present-day Pakistan and Afghanistan. It was built by British officer Sir Henry Durand under an agreement with the then Afghan ruler Abdur Rahman Khan. The objective of the British was to create a buffer zone between India (then British India) and Afghanistan so that Russia’s expansionist policy could be stopped. This line passes through Pashtun and Baloch tribal areas, due to which the families of these communities were divided between two countries. This is what makes this border the most controversial.

Why doesn’t Afghanistan agree?

Afghanistan could never officially recognize this line. He says that this is a forcibly imposed border of the colonial period, which was decided without taking the opinion of the local tribes. The Durand Line affected the Pashtun community the most. They had been living in the border areas for centuries, but now their families and tribes were divided between the two countries. According to Afghanistan, the British drew this line according to their political and military needs, and not keeping in mind the interests of the people. This is the reason why even today this border hurts the sentiments of the Afghan people.

Why did tension increase after the arrival of Taliban?

After the Taliban came to power in 2021, Pakistan hoped that a “friendly government” would be formed in Kabul which would recognize the Durand Line, but the opposite happened. The Taliban described this line as a violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and accused Pakistan of trying to forcibly determine the border by erecting a fence in this area. Since then, there have been several border clashes between the Taliban and the Pakistani army. Taliban-backed terrorist organization TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan) has also been carrying out attacks in Pakistan, due to which the tension has deepened.

Strength of Taliban and Afghan army

According to the former Vice President of Afghanistan, the Taliban has about 80 thousand fighters, while the Afghan army has 5 to 6 lakh soldiers. Despite this, the Taliban continues to dominate the Afghan army. The strength of Taliban lies in its tribal roots and religious networks. Madrassas, fundamentalist religious organizations and tribal support have strengthened the Taliban at the grassroots level. Apart from this, the secret help of Pakistani Army and ISI has also played a big role in the emergence of Taliban as a military force. This is the reason why now the same Taliban is opening a front against Pakistan.

challenge for pakistan

Pakistan now seems to be trapped in a trap of its own making. The Taliban, which it once nurtured for strategic depth, has now become a threat on its borders. The Taliban not only rejects the Durand Line, but is also trying to increase its religious and political hold in the border areas of Pakistan. Taliban attacks on Pakistani army posts show that this border is no longer just a geographical dispute but has become a security crisis.

Durand Line is the most dangerous border in the world

This 2640 km long line passes through sensitive areas like Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. This is the reason why it is called the most dangerous border in the world. Cross-border attacks, illegal trade and terrorist activities take place here every day. The life of the people living in this area always passes between instability and fear.
