After the disclosure of illegal conversion racket by UP police in Agra, BJP State General Secretary Rampratap Singh has reacted sharply. He reversed the statement of Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP Ramjilal Suman, in which Suman justified conversion by referring to inequality in Hinduism. Describing this statement as embarrassing, Rampratap Singh said that if there was no equality in Hinduism, then people in the family of SP MP would not have people in positions like Cabinet Minister.

BJP leader Rampratap Singh said that Ramjilal Suman should feel embarrassed on his statement. If there was inequality in Hinduism, would the SP MP and his family reach such a big positions? This statement is part of the conspiracy to discredit Hinduism. He accused the SP and the Congress that these parties promote forcible conversion through foreign funding and endangered national security.

Yogi government broke the back of illegal conversion- Rampratap Singh

Along with this, Rampratap Singh praised the Yogi Adityanath government and said that under ‘Mission Asmita’, the UP police has exposed a large racket of illegal conversion in Agra. The wires of this racket were associated with six states and foreign funding, in which links of terrorist organizations like PFI, SIMI, and Lashkar-e-Taiba have been revealed. He said that the Yogi government has broken the back of foreign funding and forced conversion. This action will prove to be a milestone for national security.

Serious allegations on SP and Congress

BJP leader Rampratap Singh did not stop here, he targeted the Samajwadi Party and the Congress and said that these parties only do Muslim vote bank politics. He accused SP chief Akhilesh Yadav of making derogatory remarks against saints and saints. Rampratap Singh said that Akhilesh Yadav only needs the votes of Muslims, no matter how much Hindus have to be abused. Such leaders should be boycotted from the society.

‘Exclusion of those who support forcible conversion is necessary’

He said that those who plot against the unity and integrity of the country, should not find any place in the society. Please tell that SP MP Ramjilal Suman had said in Firozabad that the incidents of conversion are not stopping due to high and low and inequality in Hinduism. The BJP has strongly objected to this statement. Rampratap Singh called it an attempt to humiliate Hinduism and said that this attitude of SP is an attempt to divide Hindu society for political gains.

Illegal conversion racket revealed in Agra

The Agra police recently busted a major illegal conversion racket, in which 10 accused were arrested. The wires of this racket were associated with funding from countries like Canada, America, London and Dubai. According to the police, the gang had converted hundreds of people by associating with love jihad, brainwashing and radical organizations.

After exposing a large racket of illegal conversion in Agra, the main accused Abdul Rahman alias Rahman Chacha was produced in the CJM court in Deewani amidst tight security. The Agra police arrested Abdul Rahman from Mustafabad in Delhi, from where several religious books and objectionable material were also recovered. The court, while hearing the 14 -day remand demand of the police, has sent Abdul Rahman to 10 days police custody remand.

According to the police, Abdul Rahman is the mastermind of this illegal conversion racket. The real name of Abdul Rahman, originally from Firozabad, is said to be Mahendra Pal Jadaun, who converted in 1990. He was involved in conducting this racket and targeting Hindu girls. Investigation has revealed that Rahman used to campaign against radical ideology and Hinduism through YouTube channel and podcast.

The case of two real sisters was revealed

A complaint was filed in March 2025 in the police station Sadar Bazar area of Agra about the sudden disappearance of two real sisters (33 and 18 years). The police started searching for them with the help of cyber cell and recovered both from Kolkata. Investigation revealed that these sisters were brainwashed and illegal conversion was done. The case exposed the entire racket, whose wires are connected to six states and abroad.

Court appearance and police remand

The Agra Police produced Abdul Rahman in the CJM court amid tight security arrangements. Prosecution officer Brajmohan Kushwaha said that the police had demanded a 14 -day remand, but the court sanctioned a 10 -day police custody remand. During this time, the police will interrogate Abdul Rahman and get information about other members of the racket, funding sources and network.

Racket wires connected abroad

Police investigation revealed that this racket was getting funding from Canada, America, London, Dubai and Pakistan. Abdul Rahman’s nephew has also been revealed that the funding re-process from London has also come to light. Apart from this, there are also indications of racket wires being associated with restricted organizations PFI, SDPI and Lashkar-e-Taiba. The police have so far arrested 11 accused, many of which are converted Muslims.
