The previous i.e. 21st installment was released on 19 November 2025, in which Rs 2000 was sent directly to the accounts of more than 9 crore farmers. Since then, farmers have been waiting for the 22nd installment and are constantly trying to know when the money will arrive. The question in the minds of the farmers is that when will the date of the new installment be decided and whether this time too Rs 2000 will be received on time.

Although no official announcement has been made by the government yet, but media reports are saying that the 22nd installment may be released in the beginning of the new year 2026. If this happens, it will be a big relief for millions of farmers, because farmers use the installment money for farming, seeds, fertilizers, and other needs. Many experts believe that the government may release the installment by the end of February 2026, although this will be confirmed only when the official date is released. Till then, farmers should update all their important documents and information, so that there is no problem in getting the installment.

Who will not get the money?

The government has already made it clear that farmers whose e-KYC is not complete or whose bank details are incorrect will not get the installment money. In such a situation, it is very important that those farmers who have not yet done e-KYC, should complete this work immediately. If e-KYC remains incomplete then the next installment may get stopped. Similarly, it is also necessary to link the bank account with Aadhaar, because the money is sent directly to the account through DBT. If DBT service is not operational or there is a mistake in the account number and IFSC code, the money will not reach your account. Therefore, farmers must check their information once by visiting their bank or logging into the website.

Apart from this, farmers should also check whether their name is in the beneficiary list or not. It is very common that sometimes due to a small mistake or information not being updated, the name of the farmer gets removed from the list and the installment gets stopped. Farmers can easily check their names in the list by visiting pmkisan.gov.in.

How to get e-KYC done

The process of doing e-KYC is also very simple. Farmers can go to the website sitting at home and choose ‘e-KYC’ option and complete the verification through OTP by entering their Aadhaar number. If OTP is not coming in the mobile number of any farmer or he is not able to do the online process, then he can update e-KYC through fingerprint by going to the nearest CSC center. Due to this, there will be no problem in coming the next installment.

The government has made it clear that from now on the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi will be available only to those farmers who are included in the Farmer Registry. Bhavantar Bhapai Yojana is an important scheme of the Haryana Government. Its purpose is to protect the farmers from the loss that they do not get the fair price of the crop in the market. Under this scheme, the government sets a protected price for any crop. If the price of the crop in the market is less than this fixed price, then the government compensates for the farmers. The Haryana Horticulture Department is already running several schemes to encourage beekeeping. The government is giving subsidy up to 85% to farmers to start beekeeping. Farmers can avail the grant up to 50 boxes at a time.

Not only this, 75% grant is also given to farmers on the goods used in bee kit like bucket, comb, net and packing bottles etc. This facility not only helps farmers in producing honey but also makes additional income to them.

In this direction, now farmers will get the benefit of “Sabzi Vikas Yojana”. Under this scheme, the seeds of vegetables will be made available to the farmers at a subsidized rate. It will directly benefit on the farmers’ pockets and there will be a big step towards self -sufficiency in vegetable production.

The main objective of the vegetable development scheme is to encourage farmers to cultivate vegetables and make them availability of seeds at easy rates. Under this, the government is providing seeds to farmers up to 75 percent grant. This will not only reduce the cost of farming but will also increase the income of farmers.

This scheme is for both raiyat and non-ray farmers. Rayat farmers will get a grant for farming up to 2.50 acres, while non-state farmers will be given a benefit of up to 0.25 acres. In this way, from small farmers to big farmers can avail this scheme.

Under the scheme, grants will be given on many types of vegetables. It includes hybrid vegetables such as broccoli, capsicum, tomato, cauliflower and cabbage. Apart from this, Rabi season vegetables like green peas, carrots, beets and brinjal are also included in the scheme. At the same time, the seeds of pudding season such as pumpkin, karela, okra, melon and watermelon will also be made available to farmers on 75 percent. Grants will also be available on onion seeds.

Under the scheme, farmers will get a minimum of 1000 and maximum of 10,000 at a subsidized rate. At the same time, a minimum of 0.25 acres and a maximum of 2.5 acres will be given for seed distribution. That is, farmers can take advantage of their farming.

The availability of seeds and bicols will be made through different centers. Vegetable middle “Center of Excellence” will meet Chandi (Nalanda), Desari (Vaishali), Katihar and Nursery in Koilwar in Bhojpur. At the same time, the seeds of vegetables will be made available through Bihar State Seed Corporation, Patna.

If the name of a farmer is not recorded in the land papers, then he will have to attach the lineage. Non-ray farmers can also take advantage of this scheme on the basis of monopoly.

• In the second installment, the remaining 40% i.e. 4 lakh rupees will be available.

Farmers of Bihar, who have been badly affected by floods and heavy rains of August 2025, can now breathe a sigh of relief. The Agriculture Department of the state government has started the process of online application under the ‘Agricultural Input Grant Scheme 2025’. At present, farmers of 577 panchayats of 64 blocks of 14 districts will get the benefit of this scheme.

This scheme has been implemented in the districts where there was a huge devastation due to the August floods. These include Nalanda, Bhagalpur, Khagaria, Katihar, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Patna, Bhojpur, Vaishali, Munger, Saran, Samastipur, Madhepura and Sheikhpura. The last date to apply has been kept on 5 September 2025.

How to register farmer?

According to reports, farmers can register directly by visiting the website of UP Agriculture Department. First of all, click on the “Farmers Registration” option. There will be a form in which name, father/husband’s name, Aadhaar number, bank account details, land information and mobile number will have to be filled. The application will be completed after submitting.

Apart from this, offline will also have to apply. If internet facility is not available, then farmers can get their registration done by going to the office of Gram Panchayat, Common Service Center (CSC), Tehsil or Agriculture Department. There the officers will check and register their Aadhaar and land papers.
