The online application process for UPSSSC AGTA Group C Recruitment 2026 has started from 22 May 2026. Candidates will be able to apply till 11 June 2026. No application will be accepted after the last date. Therefore, candidates are advised to complete the application process in time.

How many posts will be recruited?

Under UPSSSC AGTA Group C Recruitment 2026, a total of 2759 posts will be appointed. Of these, maximum 1692 seats have been reserved for general category candidates. Whereas 573 posts are reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC). Along with this, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) category will get the benefit of 213 posts, while 6 seats have been fixed for Scheduled Tribe (ST). Apart from this, 275 posts have been reserved for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates. Who can apply?

To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have a valid score card of PET 2025. Apart from this, the candidate should have a graduate degree in agriculture or related subjects from a recognized university. In this, candidates from subjects like Agricultural Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering and Home Science can apply, but those candidates whose PET normalized score is zero or less, will not be included in the next selection process.

What is the age limit fixed?

The minimum age for recruitment has been kept at 21 years, while the maximum age limit has been fixed at 40 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1st July 2026. Reserved category candidates will also get age relaxation as per government rules.

How much salary will you get?

The candidates selected through this recruitment will get salary under Pay Level-4. Salary will range from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 per month. Apart from this, benefits of other government allowances will also be given.

How will the selection be done?

Candidates will be selected in several stages. In which first shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of PET 2025 score. After this the main written examination will be conducted. Candidates successful in the examination will be called for document verification.
