Joint Police Commissioner Crime Sharad Singhal said, “In the first phase, the illegal encroachment was cleaned by the corporation to about 1.5 lakh square meters. Adequate police force has been deployed in the area. Senior officials are present on the spot and the public is also supporting us.”
